Tropsis

An accessibility-first productivity app that adapts to a user’s changing needs.

Originally developed during the Inclusive Coding Festival ’26, it went through three rounds of inclusive usability testing and rapid prototyping.

The name Tropsis grew from tropos, Greek for a turn, direction, course, or way, and apsis, the nearest or farthest point in an orbit. A friend and I combined them, then discovered the suffix -tropsis itself carries a sense of turning. It felt fitting for a tool designed to help people reorient as their needs change.

Why it’s here, and why I’m keeping it broad

Tropsis is one of the clearest examples of the kind of work I design and build, not just review. Because it’s still unreleased, the screens above are intentionally partial and the description stays broad. If you’re considering me for work like this, I’d be happy to walk you through the project, my role, and the thinking behind it.
